All media contact will be addressed to the Board Chair, or at his/her delegation from the Principal.
To ensure media management is consistent and effective.
i. If the school is contacted by media, the response is to direct the contact to the Board Chair or Principal.
ii. In the event of a school community crisis all media coverage is to go through the Principal and the Board of Trustees Chairperson (or Board of Trustees delegated personnel).
iii. Each newsletter at the start of every year will state that parents must contact the school if they do not wish their child to be included in media or publicity releases.
This policy is reviewed as part of the Boards Review Cycle.
